1. Mission & Vision
OpenCircle exists to empower creators, participants, and dreamers—rewarding real contribution and meaningful collaboration through transparent, community-driven ownership.
We aspire to set a new standard for digital communities: open, inclusive, sustainable, and governed by those who build them.
2. Core Values
- Openness: Every voice is welcomed. All information, proposals, and accounts are shared transparently.
- Collaboration: No one builds alone; every success is group-earned.
- Community Ownership: All members—regardless of status—can propose, discuss, and vote on key decisions.
- Meaningful Contribution: Tangible impact and positive engagement are rewarded above all.
3. Governance Structure
a. Token Voting
- All major decisions are made by OCL token holders, using one-token-one-vote on platforms like Snapshot (see snapshot.org).
- Proposals can be submitted by any member with a minimum OCL balance (to prevent spam).
b. Proposal Process
- Proposals are posted for open community comment before voting.
- Voting periods are at least 3 days; results visible to all.
- Accepted proposals are implemented and tracked publicly.
c. Emergency Powers (Safeguards)
- In case of security, fraud, or urgent technical failure, the founding Safe multisig wallet may pause operations with a public statement. Power returns to token holders ASAP.
